It may be grey and wet, but my day has already been brightened by picking some vibrant spinach and strawberries this morning. My parents have a fantastic veg plot, which keeps expanding year by year, and I am reaping the rewards of their hard work! Being able to eat home-grown fruits and vegetables on the day they have been picked is a real privilege – it certainly helps you appreciate your food more. This week whilst on holiday I was excited to visit an olive oil farm and mill to learn all about the beauty of Extra Virgin Olive Oil – aka EVOO. Of course, there was quite a bit of tasting involved too which was great fun. I’ve walked away having bought a few bottles to bring home and I can’t wait to enjoy drizzling! EVOO is well known for its health benefits, potent in antioxidants that contribute greatly to good health and longevity.
