What Can Nutritional Therapy Help With?

Many consider Nutritional Therapy as a tool to help with weight loss or to advise on what foods are “healthy” – whilst those are important subjects I can help you with, the scope of what a Nutritional Therapist supports is significantly broader.

Nutritional Therapy can help people of all ages and support a wide variety of major and minor conditions, symptoms or other health concerns.

For example:

  • Fatigue, loss of energy and vitalitysuch as low energy, hypothyroidism, insomnia, ME/CFS
  • Weight managementsuch as weight gain or loss
  • Digestive problems – such as IBS, constipation, indigestion, bloating, Crohn’s disease, Ulcerative Colitis
  • Food allergies and intolerances and their many associated symptoms
  • Skin imbalances – such as eczema, psoriasis, acne, rosacea
  • Hormone imbalances – such as PMS, infertility, menopause symptoms, endometriosis, PCOS, prostate issues
  • Nervous system problems – such as headaches, migraines, depression, anxiety
  • Stress related problems – which can have a multitude of symptoms, the extent of which is often unrecognised
  • Musculoskeletal issues – such as osteoarthritis, gout, osteoporosis, rheumatoid arthritis
  • Immune conditions – such as hay fever, Multiple Sclerosis, autoimmune conditions
  • Respiratory problems – such as asthma, bronchitis
  • Sports performance – such as improving stamina and performance, training for a specific event

Of course some clients seek the support of a Nutritional Therapist, not because something is wrong, but because they want to prevent potential ill-health and promote increased vitality.
